Each night I awaken and I'm not sure which reality is real So confused by the illusions that I don't know what I feel In my nightmares I am always falling from the sky And every night I wake up screaming but no one can hear my cry When I'm walking through the street, people stop and stare at me in fear Constantly I am crying out for help, but nobody dares to come near A deathly aura surrounding me, nothing but a ghost walking in this earthly shell And if you dare to look into my eyes, you'll be staring at a gateway to hell I tried to take it just one day at a time, but the pain will always remain Always desperately searching for a reason why, yet no answers can I ever obtain Perhaps it is now time to search within my mind Maybe then the answers I will find The dream it was so clear, the path that I must travel Taken by a guiding light, the mystery at last will unravel Following a golden star, I am led into a clearing And as the star begins to fade, I see my dual spirit appearing Standing at the edge of a cliff, my dual spirit beckons me forth As I step on to the clouds, she points to a star in the north Gazing up at the star, the spirits begin to sing Entering into a lucid vision, I begin to understand everything But soon the vision begins to fade, and I snap back to reality I try to grasp at the vision I have lost, but it keeps fading away from me I tried and I tried to remember but I lost it all I tried and I tried to remember but I kept on falling down to the Earth The nightmare at last has come to an end, in paradise I have now awoken Re-united once again with my dual spirit, a unity never to be broken Finally at the end of the road, I have now found my destiny Fated to be together in the afterlife, for all eternity
