The EP

The EP "The Mellow Sovereign" was the first proper music project I set about creating. There is absolutely no reasoning whatsoever behind the name I chose for the EP, except the phrase "The Mellow Sovereign" literally popped into my head whilst I was writing the song of the same name. This EP was originally called "The Gothic Collection", although when I devised the Gothic Dream project, I realised that the album was still going to have the same kind of dark theme that made me call this EP "The Gothic Collection" in the first place. Hence I decided to rename it to "The Mellow Sovereign" after the first song I wrote for the EP.

A few interesting things which were completely unplanned, but just happened during the natural course of events:

Two of the songs have one word in the title, two of the songs have two words in the title and two of the songs have three words in the title.
Three of the songs have a synthesised string section, whereas the other three don't.
Three of the songs have percussion, whereas the other three have no percussion.
